Replacement of damaged spring pins in the bearing assembly of a TALEX disc mower with an LTT cutting bar.
When the disc hits a stone or another obstacle, the safety pins shear off, protecting the remaining drive components from damage.
Scope of work:
✅ Removal of the disc, cutter holder, and cutting blades
✅ Removal of the upper hubs of the bearing assembly
✅ Removal of remnants of damaged spring pins
✅ Inspection of components for wear and damage
✅ Installation of new safety pins
✅ Tightening the nut to 320 Nm using threadlocker
✅ Correct reassembly and alignment of the disc
Always ensure that all work is carried out with the tractor switched off, the hydraulic system depressurized, and all working parts completely stopped.
